“You’re so money and you don’t even know it!”
Mikey’s all growns up and in charge of a new live action TV for Disney’s upcoming streaming service, according to The New York Times.
With the closing of Star Wars Rebels a couple of days ago, Disney has tapped Jon Favreau to write and be the executive producer to a new live action Star Wars show that’s details are, of course, under wraps for now.
Favreau, the director of such films as Iron Man, The Jungle Book (2016) and the upcoming Lion King live action remake is no stranger to the Star Wars universe as he has voiced Pre Vizsla in Star Wars Clone Wars and will voice Rio Durant in Solo: A Star Wars Story this May.
Disney’s new streaming service, announced this past November, is posed to be competition to Netflix, releasing later this year, although no name or price for the service has been announced.
Keep your eyes peeled here for more news when it breaks!
